An Explanation.

I realized my followers and the ones I follow deserve one.

Just because I haven't been posting frequently here, doesn't mean I haven't been posting at all.
I have another blog; no, not because one provider is better, but because I was looking for a different avenue to blog about my music, reviews, etc. I've found a nice little niche in the blogosphere, and it's here.

Now, I've posted about BlackMuzik on this blog before, but my Tumblr blog will host nothing but BlackMuzik updates, new music, news about us and my opinions on the art today, of course. Please feel free to check it out, and follow if you're a fellow Tumblr.

To Tumbl, or Not to Tumbl.

My best friend, who has a blog on Tumblr, has been telling me for some time to give it a shot. "Coding is easier and better to do", and supposedly the themes are plentiful. Now, I'm not deleting this blog; I've gained too many followers to just snuff this one out so soon, but I do think Tumblr may be another avenue for me to post about music; my music, etc. So, with that being said...

...what do you guys think? If I blogged here and on Tumblr, would you read? Drop comments in the box, I need input!

Brain Farts. UGH!

I've been a wee bit stumped in the blogging area for the past few days. It's not that I haven't had the time, I simply don't know what the hell to type. Could I give you more updates? Poetry? News? Weird facts? Who knows, my blog never really a direction since it's conception, but I would like to be a little neat when it comes to subject matter. I think I've done pretty well so far (I have 35 followers! WooHoo!), the feedback I've been getting as of late has been appreciated. Of course I owe that to the readers, who are always awesome of course. :o)

My problem may lie in the fact that my blog isn't centered around one topic. Sure, I could have been just another music blogger, but I have sooooo many more interesting things to talk about! I like sharing (some) personal things, I like sharing knowledge about things people rarely care about...I just like sharing, period. Why do a blog on all things fashion when I'm sure there are 8009408023859405 billion other bloggers doing the same thing? I don't get paid to review books/movies, so why dedicate a page entirely to all things fiction or cinema? I like to blog something whenever I'm inspired to do so, hence my topics ranging from the personal, the musical to the "wtf". But there are so many things going on right now that I'd like to blog about, my brain just decided to overload before I get a chance to hit "save now"; and before I know it I'm starting something totally different.

So now, I ask the readers: should I format, or continue against the grain? I'm a person who does things outside of the box, so constricting myself to one topic would probably do more harm than good. It's not a monumental deal, just something I've been debating lately.

I'm sure you'll see something fresh from me shortly.

To get straight to the point, my number of followers has been picking up a little in the past couple of days . So, because of that, I'd like to take some time and say thank you to all new readers! There's a nice little bit of you, so forgive me for not including individual shout-outs. I appreciate the comments (read: I LOVE comments, so bring 'em on!), and I try my best to comment on your blogs, as well. I just figured I could post an official "thank you" to you guys. Keep reading, there'll be lots more to come!

So, I'll be honest and say I've been editing this post since the middle of January. Being a procrastinator finally paid off! I was doing my usual Monday evening thing, so true to fashion following chillaxing after work, I decided to randomly peruse some blogs. Bingo! I stumbled upon this blog and learned a little something about Blogroll Amnesty Day. It's the blogosphere's first (and only) major holiday, observed on February 3rd annually. Anyone can participate, the rules are pretty simple. Original rules state that you highlight and provide links for five blogs that you read that have less traffic than you. Since I was already doing a B.A.D.-styled post, honoring you guys; I figured I'd add my own flavor to this blogiday. And I could be making a big deal about this, having only 23 followers, but screw it...you guys are awesome. This is how I thank you for being awesome. You should do the same for whatever blogs you read!

I was going to divide my B.A.D. blogroll into sections, but it's a time for change...so no segregation here. It's in no specific order, which is ultimately best because honestly I couldn't tell you a favorite even if I meditated on it.
