A Music Lover MUST Have

This is probably my favorite Marvin Gaye album. Released in 1978, Here, My Dear is noted as being autobiographical, chronicling Gaye's first marriage with Anna Gordy. The story is that the title of the album was for Gordy; receiving royalties from this album was part of the divorce settlement, as well as a portion of Marvin's advance for his next album. Ouch.
If you've never heard this album before, you're sleeping. Honestly.

One of my favorite tracks on the album. Enjoy!

Whaaat? I do NOT have this album... Actually its the only one I don't have. I have seen it around but I never got it.
My favorite Marvin Gaye album is I Want You. Oh my word... I could listen to that silky smooth cd all day (and I have); there's this instrumental on there of After The Dance... And Since I Had You... Let's not get me started.
I'm definitely gonna look into Here, My Dear. I love all things Marvin

My favorite cut on there is Sparrow and Falling in love again.
But Anna's song...take a bath in milk...Man...that dude knew how to describe it.

This is a GREAT album! Marvin Gaye really opened up on this one. Falling in Love Again is probably my favorite but Anger is a good one too. Will someone just hurry up and make a movie about him already!??

JayCee-Yeahhhh, buddy! Marvin definitely laid it down on this album. The music is heavenly!

Miss Knobody-That's what I'm saying! But...who would play Marvin?? Maybe that's the hold up.
